Courtyard Marriott SLO is right by Highway 101 and on the same street as Motel 6 North & South.

These Motel 6 hotels are also located off Highway 101 and are close to shopping and restaurants.

The Budget Inn is located next to three other hotels (Downtown SLO Inn, Olive Tree Inn, and Ramada Inn) and right next to an entrance to Highway 101.
It is minutes from Downtown SLO (walking and driving) and within walking distance of a sushi restaurant, Cowgirl Cafe, and Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop. The Budget Inn has a 2.9-star rating on Google reviews. View their website here.
4. Best Western Royal Oak

The Best Western Royal Oak is within walking distance of Laguna Dog Park and Madonna Inn.

La Quinta Inn & Suites is also near California Polytechnic State University and across the street from Sands Inn & Suites.
Not only is it an 8-minute walk to Splash Cafe but it is also a 6-minute walk to Frank’s Famous Hot Dogs. Hotel Cerro is a luxury hotel that has only been around for two years or so and it's located in the heart of San Luis Obispo.
