5 Cute & Unique Mixed Dog Breeds

Are you a dog lover who is interested in hybrid crosses? Or maybe you just love dogs and can't get enough of them! Lucky for you we have made a list of some cute and unique mixed breeds.

Poochon

A Poochon, also known as a Bichpoo, is a mix of a miniature or toy Poodle and a Bichon Frise. The result is a fluffy and cute designer dog from two breeds with a lot in common. Both breeds have their roots in French origins and were bred for water sports. They are both playful, affectionate, and happy-go-lucky. A plus from the poodle side is that they are better for allergies. With both breeds having similarities you won’t see clear traits of one or the other but a blend of their best characteristics.

Porkie

A pint-sized pooch weighing at around seven pounds, the Porkie is a mix of a Yorkshire Terrier and a Pomeranian. The Yorkie gives the dog its tri-color coat and beard, while the Pomeranian brings in a stockier body. Both breeds make this dog an outgoing personality in a tiny package.

Cockapoo

This breed mix consists of a Cocker Spaniel with those melt your heart eyes and a Miniature Poodle with wavy hair. The two breeds make a dog come in at around 30 pounds. Just the right size for both romping in the yard and couch snuggling. Both breeds love to play. Their affectionate nature makes them the perfect dog for a family with kids.

Aussiedoodle

This mix is an athletic dog with lots of energy. An Australian Shepherd and a Standard Poodle blend in this dog for a canine that is exceptionally intelligent. With a Poodle’s curly coat and the mottled blue and silver coat of an Australian Shepherd, it has a striking appearance. Both breeds are good-natured, making this dog a good choice.

Chorkie

If you are looking for breeds of dogs that are small this one is a perfect size. This cutie has the traits of a Chihuahua and a Yorkshire Terrier. Weighing in between six and nine pounds this dog is only nine inches tall. It has the tricolor coat of a Yorkie with the perky ears and rounded head of a Chihuahua. This dog has the affectionate personality of a Yorkie and the confidence of a Chihuahua all in a tiny breed perfect to accompany you in a tote.

We'd love to know which mix you thought was the cutest! Perhaps, one of these mixed breeds is already a part of your family. Let us know in the comments 😊
