4 Fun Fall Activities With Your Dog in San Luis Obispo

Fall has finally begun in San Luis Obispo! Mornings are cold, the leaves are falling, the sun is setting earlier in the evening, and everything is pumpkin flavored. Are you having trouble deciding what to do with your pup now that autumn is here? Then check out some of the most recommended activities to do in San Luis Obispo this fall!


1. Bring your dog to the pumpkin patch


There are a few farms in San Luis Obispo County that allow pups. First, Avila Valley Barn permits dogs in their outdoor areas. Sit on the picnic tables and enjoy freshly baked goods or delicious locally grown produce. Walk your dog around to say hello to some friendly farm animals. The locals recommend to make sure your dog is politely on leash in this busy atmosphere. Additionally, Brookshire Farms permits leashed pups on weekdays during during the day to join you as you pick your favorite pumpkin or gourd. Lastly, The Pumpkin Patch allows dogs as long as your pup is on leash and leaves nothing behind.


2. Take a fall hike

3. Tune into a Halloween movie marathon
