Volunteer Opportunities
Individual Opportunities
Dog Play Yard Supervisor
Time: 9am - 3pm (Typical shifts are 9am -12pm and 12pm - 3pm)
Hours: 3 hours/week minimum
Training: Complete Dogs 101 (provided) and 3 days of supervised training
What would you do?

Maintaining the yard by filling water buckets/pools, picking up any waste, and weeding

Safe handling and oversight of pets to ensure the safety of all animals and deter inappropriate behavior
Cleaning Volunteer
Time: 9am - 2pm (Flexible Schedule)
Hours: 3 hours/week minimum
Training: Complete Dogs 101 (provided) and 3 days of supervised training
What would you do?

Turnover and sanitization of boarding facilities and equipment including daily removal of animal waste and trash from facilities
-
Laundering of bedding and towels for both owners and THPR

Grounds maintenance to maintain resort appearance for customers
Maintenance Volunteers
Volunteer at Son Care Foundation's 40-acre ranch completing a wide variety of maintenance tasks.
Help with minor construction, plumbing, landscaping, fabricating, painting, electrical, weeding, and many other projects. We welcome all skill levels and will let you choose from a variety of projects.
Group Opportunities
Group Projects
We love having groups come and help with projects! This type of volunteering is great for school groups, family groups, and work groups.
Here are some projects that we need help with:

Create a dog-friendly hiking path
