We offer a wide variety of training to meet your family needs and build your dog's reliability and confidence!

In-home training is customized to you and your dogs needs!
$140 per session (60 minute sessions) plus a mileage charge (rates below):
1-5 Miles from THPR: $7.50
6-10 Miles from THPR: $15.00
11-15 Miles from THPR: $22.50
16-20 Miles from THPR: $30.00
21-25 Miles from THPR: $37.50
Appointment Schedule

In-Home Training must be pre-paid per session. We are currently not offering any packages.
These training appointments can be made by phone or email.
Appointments will start 30 minutes after the booked starting time (This will allow our trainer 30 minutes of travel time to arrive at your location).

Our trainer will take your dog from daycare each day to work with them for 30 minutes on the skills needed!
*Package days do not have to be used consecutively
*2 or more sessions per week is recommended
Daycare and Train must be scheduled by phone or email. Reservations cannot be made through the client portal.

Meet Our Dog Trainer

Wesley has been training and educating dogs and people since 2015. He has worked with many breeds, and specializes in Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers. He is currently in the process of becoming an AKC Canine Good Citizen Approved Evaluator and a Victoria Stilwell Licensed Trainer.
Since 2016 he has focused on teaching service dogs and facility dogs for the New Life K9s Service Dog Program at the California Men’s Colony (CMC). Wesley also developed training manuals and taught incarcerated men at CMC to become dog handlers for New Life K9s.
Wesley believes in positive reinforcement and bond-based choice teaching methods only. He does not believe in any averse methods including choke-chains, shock collars, etc. He has a huge love for dogs, he is patient, thorough, kind, and unbiased.
In Wesley’s free time he enjoys creating beautiful pieces of art, including portraits of dogs! Wesley has a degree in Human Development/Human Services with a background in social behavioral sciences. Wesley is eager to learn and is constantly educating himself on new dog training innovations.
