Kennel Manager, Kyle Gillette

Hi My Name is Kyle and I grew up in the central valley, in a town called Dinuba. I lived on an orange farm until I left for Cal Poly. After I graduated from Cal Poly as a Kinesiology major in 2005. When I was growing up we always had 4 dogs and I loved to play with them. Being outdoors and active, getting to be around animals all day, and having the opportunity to lead others seemed to be the perfect fit. I look forward to every day of work here.

Resort Host, Kristen Nelson

My name is Kristen and I am in my third year at Cal Poly where I am majoring in Architecture and minoring in Sustainable Environments. I grew up in Las Vegas, NV and have been an animal lover from the beginning!!! I adopted a puppy of my own last summer, Isaac Newton. Coming to work here at Thousand Hills is like a reward for me, a vacation from school! My favorite part about this job is when I get to witness the excitement of owner being reunited with their pet after a long stay. I hope to meet you and your four-legged family members very soon!
